ALCOHOL PROCESS MAP
An assignment in my information design class was to visually explain a 10-step process. I wanted to demonstrate something involving anatomy, so I landed on how alcohol is consumed and processed by the body. Please note this was based on research (references below). The steps came out to being:
Beverage is consumed via mouth
Smells sensed by nose
Beverage is swallowed
Digestive system begins processing fluid
Liver begins filtering
Alcohol enters bloodstream, pumped via the heart
Cerebellum (body coordination) is affected
Eyesight is affected
General brain cognition is affected
Elimination
